- You can see your reflection on the surface of the pearl.
- The set is strung on silk or non-stretch polyester thread and hand-knotted multiple times between each pearl.
- If the pearl’s surface is scratched, the flaw can be buffed out (because the nacre layer runs completely solid throughout genuine pearls).
- The piece has weight - a fake strand of pearls is generally hollow, thus lighter.
- The coloring is incredible - no man-made strand can imitate the perfect reflection of light unique to a genuine pearl’s chemically-complex nacre.
