Shipping and Returns
General Information
All orders received by 3PM ET will be shipped within three business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service. Shipping is $5 USD for orders totaling up to $100 (order total is the merchandise subtotal minus any coupons or gift certificates). Orders over $100 are shipped free of charge. Please note - for orders over $100, your invoice will include a shipping charge by default. The charge will be waived manually by the staff member filling your order. An additional charge will be applied if you are shipping outside of the United States or are requesting a rush order.
Gift Orders
Sending someone a gift? No problem. Just let us know it's a gift by saying so in the comments section during checkout. You can also give us a message to pass along, such as "Happy Birthday Hope! -from Ron." We'll prepare a special packing slip that includes your personalized greeting.
Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise, you may return it for a refund or exchange. We graciously accept returns by mail on unused, undamaged merchandise.
We must be notified of your intent to return merchandise within 30 days of the date we ship to you. Also, while we will be happy to refund your credit card the appropriate amount for your return items (assuming they are within our return policy guidelines), we cannot refund shipping and handling charges unless you have received damaged or defective goods. Know that while you will have to pay to ship the merchandise back to us, exchanges typically will not accrue further shipping charges.
Damaged Merchandise
Our pearls are meant to stand the test of time. If, for any reason, your jewelry is defective - today or ten years from now - we will gladly replace it with a comparable piece, free of charge. This does not include abnormal wear and tear or loss of jewelry.
Returning a Gift
Sometimes tastes and preferences aren't the same - we want you to enjoy your pearls and to wear them! If you've received a gift of Black Lotus pearls that you'd like to return or exchange, please contact us. We are happy to issue merchandise credit for gift returns.
Lost Receipts and Price Discrepancies
If you've lost your receipt, don’t worry. Contact us, and we’ll ask you some questions and do our best to determine to our satisfaction that, yes, you are the purchaser or gift recipient. If for some reason we don’t have a record of how much was paid for the merchandise, we’ll substitute the current selling price.
Uneven Exchanges
If you exchange your unsatisfactory merchandise for more expensive merchandise, we will charge the credit card used to make the original transaction. If your original item winds up costing more than the item you replace it with, we’ll credit your card for the difference.
